PTS is a privately held company formed by Bob Hagerman in 1996. Our goal is to improve your company’s performance by using the latest achievements in advanced technology at prices well below the competition. PTS offers cost-effective off-the-shelf systems and cloud solutions along with custom software, barcoding, RFID systems, training, installation and a wide range of other consulting services. Our staff is experienced at analyzing your situation, determining potential solutions, and implementing new processes. This has allowed us to quickly grow to over 1,000 custom installations at both small and large companies. A Little History

In the early 80’s (yes, I am really that old) personal computer systems were new and emerging but practical software systems were hard to find. Mini and mainframe solutions were used by larger corporations, but smaller companies had few options. Finding software tailored to meet these needs was time-consuming and rare. You were often expected to conform to available software systems rather than have a customized solution designed fit your business needs. Ongoing problems were frequently addressed by adding additional staff – but at a growing cost.

In the following years, computers became more affordable. We saw a need in the nuclear industry for some specific software solutions, but they were not readily available. The only way to truly meet the need was to write something custom. To do so, I formed a small team at Westinghouse Nuclear to develop new applications running in DOS and then later Windows. What an adventure!

In the 90’s, we determined that custom software solutions were necessary. This allowed companies to meet unique data management requirements while keeping costs low with exceptional long-term benefits! To accomplish this, I formed Process & Technology Solutions, Inc. (PTS) in 1996 to design systems specific to our customer’s needs while ensuring customer satisfaction.
